Tuna Sportfishing Tournament

                                                                                                     Puerto Princesa, Palawan 

          June 17-19, 2012

 

ELIGIBILITY:   PGFFI members (Annual dues must be updated to participate. Non- PGFFI members must add

P 1, 800.00 to entry fee)   Open to first 30 Anglers.

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE:

            P9,560.00 – 4 in a boat         

            P12,080.00 – 3 in a boat      

            P 17,120.00 – 2 in a boat

                                                              

PAYMENT DEADLINE: Full payment by June 14, 2012  to allow flight booking. No show charge is 50 % off the tournament fee.

NOTE: ( Food, Mineral Water, Soft drinks ARE FOR ANGLERS’ ACCOUNT) Airline Tickets can be arranged by PGFFI, all interested participants must Notify Secretariat before June 14, 2012.

 

SCHEDULES:

             June 17 (Sunday)                          - Depart for Puerto Princesa

             June 17                                            - 10am Briefing at La Terrasse Restaurant

     - 11am Lunch  at La Terrasse Restaurant

             June 17                                            - at 1:30 pm depart for fishing ground from Puerto Princesa Pier 

            June 20                                            -  Wednesday morning return to pier & lunch at La Terrasse Restaurant

             June 20                                             - Wednesday 5 pm Depart for Manila.

TOURNAMENT BASE: Secretariat during off fishing period shall be at Puerto Pension. Communication center will be at Standard Insurance Branch at Goland Bldg., Lacao St. Puerto Princesa, Tel. #433-2853 or 433-6878, please look for Wendel Cell number is 0917-5530193.

 

FISHING AREA: Approximately, 20 to 40 N. miles East  to Southeast of Puerto Princesa.

 

BOATS: Local tuna fishing boats powered by diesel engines. Bait, ice and Lagtang are included. The anglers will have to provide their own rod holders and Fighting chairs. 

 

SAFETY: All anglers must WEAR LIFEVEST upon boarding the boat.  Anglers caught not wearing their life vest during tournament will be disqualified for the day likewise with Buddy Boat  system shall apply.

 

LINE & TACKLE:  No limits on the number of rods and reels.  80 Lbs. or lower IGFA tournament Line.

Popping, Jigging, Trolling is allowed.

 

SCORING:  All qualifying fish is at 5 kgs.  No SHARK.

 

TOURNAMENT RULES: “PGFFI General Tournament Rules and Guidelines shall apply.”

 

SAFETY: Strict implementation of buddy boat system, wearing of life vests on board boat.

 

MUST BRING:  Raincoats, Life vests, first aid kits, handheld radios, food plates and utensils for Dinner on board.
