Greetings!
The Cavinti Watersports Fest is
an annual event in the Municipality of Cavinti to promote our Tourism Industry.
It mainly aims to uplift the quality of life in our beloved town. The first
celebration of Cavinti Watersports Fest held last February 7-9, 2014 in Lumot
Lake was a big success. More than 3,000 participants, spectators and tourists
attended and joined in various activities such as Bass Fishing Competition,
Dragon Boat Racing, Canoe Racing, Kayak Racing, Kite Boarding Exhibition,
Carabao Swim Racing, Underwater Fish Hunting, Munting Dampa sa Lawa, Trade Fair and so forth. Further,
the event was featured in various mass media such as ABS-CBN Umagang Kay
Ganda, ABS-CBN Sports Unlimited, NU TV, Inquirer, Philippine Star, and so
forth.
LGU Cavinti is now initiating its 2nd Cavinti Watersports
Festival on February 8-14 and 21-22, 2015.
Our local municipality would wish to utilize
further the treasures of our Lake. In
this regard, we would like to invite your
group to participate in one of our major event - our Bass Fishing Tournament on
February 21-22, 2015 in Caliraya-Lumot
Lake, Cavinti, Laguna. This event aims
to draw attention on how to conserve our lake and its Eco System. This
is in partnership with Lago Fishing Village and for registration
details, please coordinate with them or our Tourism Office.
