PGFF HEAVY TACKLE TOURNAMENT

ELIGIBILITY: PGFFI Members (Annual dues must be updated to participate. Non-PGFFI Members must add P 2,000.00 to entry fee.

NOTE: For None Anglers/ Guest Room Accommodation is P500.00/day. DRIVERS ACCOMODATION P. 300/day (Container Van). NO ANGLERS ALLOWED AT THE CONTAINER VAN UNLESS THE WHOLE VAN WILL BE RENTED.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE:
P 13,400.00 - 2 Anglers in a boat Entry Fee covers Accommodation, Boat Rental, Boatman & Helper wages, and Food for the duration of the tournament.
P 11,605.00 - 3 Anglers in a boat Entry Fee covers Accommodation, Boat rental. Boatman & Helper wages, and Food for the duration of the tournament.
P 18,800.00 - 1 Angler in a boat Entry Fee covers Accommodation, Boat rental, Boatman & Helper wages, and Food for the duration of the tournament.
P 8,000.00 - Boat Owners Entry Fee covers Room Accommodation, and Food for the duration of the Tournament
*BAIT AND ICE- P. 400.00 per day (Add On)
*GASOLINE FOR LOCAL BOATS are on ANGLER’S ACCOUNT
Payments can be made through SECURITY BANK (any branch) Deposit to PGFFi current account # 0273-025674-001 and fax a copy of your deposit slip with the registration Form to PGFFi at Fax no. 634-9187.
NOTE: Driver’s and helper’s Accommodations & Food - ARE ON ANGLER’S ACCOUNT.
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
July 26 (Friday) 5:30 pm briefing
July 27 (Saturday) 3:00 am to 4:00 pm (1st day of fishing)
July 28 (Sunday) 3:00 am to 4 pm (2nd day of fishing)
July 29 (Monday) 3:00 am to 4:00 pm (3rd day of fishing)
July 30 (Tuesday) 3:00 am to 3:00 pm (Last day of fishing)
IMPORTANT: Bring VHF Radio’s or Marine band radios- It is a must for anglers to bring radio communication on the boat for safety purposes and for monitoring the anglers. (Limited number of Radios can be rented at the camp for a minimal fee
FISHING METHOD: TROLLING, JIGGING, POPPING and BOTTOM FISHING. ELECTRIC REEL IS NOT ALLOWED.
LINE & TACKLE: For Heavy Tackle Tournament - 50 Lbs. Tournament Line Maximum/ PE-5. No limit on the number of rods and Reels on water.
SCORING: TEAM SCORING
QUALIFYING FISH : For Heavy Tackle Tournament –Sailfish and Marlin (Black or Blue) 15kg.minimum/ Wahoo, Tanigue & Dorado 5kg. minimum/ Largest Others 5kg. minimum. For Jigging, minimum of 5kg. to qualify.
NOTE: ONLY ANGLERS ARE ALLOWED TO JIG. NO JIGGING FOR BANGKEROS.
FISHING AREA: Fishing ground along coastal areas of Bo. San Vicente up to Maggi.
SAFETY: All anglers must WEAR A LIFE VEST upon boarding the boat. Buddy boat system should be strictly observed. No alcoholic drinks onboard.
GARBAGE: Trash should be kept on board the boat and properly disposed. Make boatmen aware of this requirement.
FOOD & DRINKS: No alcoholic drinks onboard the boats.
